HEART, SOUL AND SKILL
We have over two hundred individual placements requiring skills as diverse as project management to building, soccer coaching to trauma counseling. Our projects, whether Community Development, Child Sponsorship or Disaster Relief are crying out for genuine on-the-ground support. All international placements involve training national staff. And if you have the desire to work nine months or more and meet criteria there are opportunities for AusAID-supported volunteer placements.
In Australia we also need specialist and general help, both in our Head Office in Clayton, Melbourne and each of Australia’s States. Priority work areas include: videography and photography of overseas projects, writing articles for national publications, web management, desk officer project management and general administration assistance. Australian roles require a minimum weekly commitment of four hours for at least the duration of a school term.
